Flipped Classroom
At last week's faculty meeting, the topic of the flipped classroom was discussed. Lots of credit goes to Hui Liu and Whitney Nielsen for being willing to pioneer this method of teaching. While only a hand full of staff members have attempted this rather new method of instruction, I encourage all to at least give it some thought. With all the positives expressed by those who've used it, the upfront work may be worth it. I am available to provide whatever help is needed to make it a successful endeavor, from training to help creating the videos. As always, Durfee staff is encouraged to contact me regarding this or any other instructional technology questions you may have.
