Student Portal Opens

The Fall River Public Schools has begun the first phase of its FRPS 24/7 Initiative to give students and parents their own unique X2 Aspen account to access student information. Students can now log into their Student Portal accounts to check on grades, class assignments, attendance history, club activities and more. E-mails with instructions on accessing the accounts have been sent to students. The Parent Portal is slated to open soon. One of the excellent benefits of the Student Portal is that teachers can now easily create Pages to enhance their instruction. Teachers can now use forums, blog, post documents, allow for online submission of assignments and more. This will make it much easier for teachers who are now trying to accomplish some of the tasks with Savvy webpages or Moodle.
