The Elements
An interactive periodic table on which students can click an element and learn about that element. Clicking on an element describes all of the element's properties and the common uses of that element. If students just need a snap shot of information, simply placing their cursor on an element reveals a snap shot of information at the top of the page.
BioEd Online
This site features a slew of free resources for biology teachers. There are presentations that include topics organized by contents standard, teaching strategies, lab techniques, and more. You'll also find classroom lessons, units, slide sets, and many other classroom resources.
Celestia
Celestia is a free space exploration simulation program. Celestia is a free download but it is currently installed on the computers in the Science computer lab. There is a companion website to Celestia called the Celestia Motherlode that features add-ons to Celestia and educational activities that teachers can use in their classrooms.
Google Body Browser
Google Body is a detailed 3D model of the human body. You can peel back anatomical layers, zoom in, and navigate to parts that interest you. Click to identify anatomy, or search for muscles, organs, bones and more.
You can also share the exact scene you are viewing by copying and pasting the corresponding URL. You will need a web browser that supports WebGL, such as Google Chrome.
Chemical Education Digital Library
The Chemical Education Digital Library is a large collection of resources for teaching and learning chemistry. The ChemEd DL contains tutorials for students, 3D models, lesson plans, and more.

This site provides nearly 200 video animations and explanations of injuries, diseases, and body systems.
Sumanas
Sumanas provides a public gallery of animations divided into ten categories dealing with various topics in biology, chemistry, Earth science, and statistics. Many of the animations are narrated.
Periodic Table of Comic Books
A project of the chemistry department at the University of Kentucky, this site makes a comic book reference for every element in the Periodic Table of Elements. Clicking on an element in the periodic table will take visitors to a list and images of comic book references to that particular element.

Knotebooks is a service that allows users to create, customize, and share lessons composed of videos, images, and texts from all over the Internet. With Knotebooks, you can organize information to create a reference article for yourself or to share with others or you can also browse the articles published by others.
WorldWide Telescope
The WorldWide Telescope makes very detailed, high resolution images from space available to anyone with access to a computer and an internet connection. The educators page on the WorldWide Telescope site has lesson resources and ideas for middle school and high school use.
